Why did we make a tailgate bag ?
For years, people have been using spare tire bags on their tailgates. The problem with this is that they scratch the truck, bounce around when you’re on the trail, and are hard to get trash in when the tailgate is down. So, we set out to fix this!
Appearance
There’s no reason why your tailgate bag should look like a sun-faded, floppy rag on the back of your truck. We designed ours to hold its shape while using ripstop material, so it doesn’t fade in the sun.
Non scratching
Our tailgate bag is a two-piece system, and the tailgate pad is where all the magic happens. The tailgate pad features a gecko material that sits against your paint to protect your tailgate from the bag. Gecko material is a non-slip surface that prevents the pad from moving on the paint, resulting in a scratch-free tailgate.
Ease Of Use
Because we use a two-piece system, it allows the tailgate bag to pivot when you open the tailgate. This is great for easy access to the tailgate bag or for using it as a trash can around camp.
